2. Privacy Policy

This privacy policy applies to this website and all mobile applications published by Manuel Bogner on the Google Play Store and Apple App Store.

Protecting your personal data is a priority. I process all data in compliance with applicable regulations (GDPR, TKG 2021). This privacy policy covers data processing on this website and within my mobile applications.

Contact Inquiries

When you contact me by email, I store the data you provide (name, email address, message content) to process your inquiry and any follow-up questions. I do not share this data without your consent.

Retention period: Contact inquiry data is retained for 12 months after the last communication, unless longer retention is required by statutory obligations (e.g. tax or commercial law retention periods of up to 7 years under Austrian law). After the retention period expires, the data is deleted.

Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (processing necessary for pre-contractual measures taken at the request of the data subject) or Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in responding to inquiries). The provision of personal data is neither legally nor contractually required. However, without the data provided it is not possible to respond to your inquiry.

Please note that email communication is processed by the respective email service provider (Apple iCloud Mail). While Apple maintains data processing infrastructure within the EU, a transfer of data to third countries (e.g. the United States) cannot be fully excluded. Apple processes data under Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) approved by the European Commission. A dedicated data processing agreement (DPA) cannot be concluded directly with Apple for standard iCloud email services; Apple acts as a service provider under its own terms. By sending me an email, you accept this potential transfer.

Hosting

This website is hosted by the following EU-based providers:

• Hetzner Online GmbH, Gunzenhausen, Germany
• IPAX GmbH, Vienna, Austria

All servers processing data for this website are located within the European Union. No personal data is transferred to countries outside the EU/EEA. Both providers act as data processors on my behalf under Data Processing Agreements (DPA) in accordance with Art. 28 GDPR.

Server Log Files

The hosting provider automatically collects and stores server log information that your browser transmits. This includes:

• Browser type and browser version
• Operating system used
• Referrer URL
• Host name of the accessing computer
• Time of the server request
• IP address

This data is not merged with other data sources. Server log files are automatically rotated and deleted after six months at the latest.

Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest). The legitimate interest lies in ensuring the stability, security, and proper functioning of the website.

Data Processing in Mobile Applications

My mobile applications prioritize privacy. They do not collect, transmit, or share personal data. They operate fully offline, require no user accounts, and employ no tracking. Any local data (such as preferences or settings) remains on your device and is never sent to external servers.

This website does not use cookies. No tracking cookies, analytics cookies, or advertising cookies are set at any time. There are no third-party services embedded that would set cookies on your behalf.

No External Resources

This website does not load any external resources such as fonts, scripts, stylesheets, or images from third-party servers. All assets are self-hosted to ensure that no data is transmitted to external parties when you visit this website.

No Analytics or Tracking

I do not use any analytics or tracking tools (such as Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or similar services). No personally identifiable information is collected through tracking mechanisms. Your visit to this website is not monitored or profiled in any way.
